The energy code has gotten much more complex, but with our high level of experience and expertise we can help you navigate the code to ensure you’re meeting it in a cost effective way. We also pride ourselves having the best service in the industry. We have a quick turnaround time and you can depend on us to keep your schedule on track. In addition, we offer our customers competitive pricing. It’s usually cheaper to hire us to do the job than it is to buy the materials at a big box store and do it yourself. We buy insulation by the truckload direct from the manufacturer which allows us to pass those savings along to you.
Crawlspace Cleanout
Rodent damage in the crawlspace? Older home with little or no existing insulation? We can take care of you. We’ll give you an honest assessment of what your home needs, whether it’s just a little tune-up or a full removal and replacement of the insulation. Whatever the job, our crews do amazing work, even in those older tight crawlspaces. We encourage you to shop around. You’ll find that our prices are often much lower than the competition, and we won’t try to sell you on unnecessary services.
Attic blow
It’s not uncommon for attic insulation to be damaged by rodents or get trampled by people making repairs or re-running wires. And since the building codes have changed so much over the years, older homes often have inadequate insulation in the attic. If that’s the case, we can blow over the top of the old insulation to get you to the proper depth. It’s a fairly simple process and it’s one of the most effective ways to keep your house comfortable and save on your heating and cooling bills.
Attic Vacuum
Most of the time it’s not necessary to remove existing attic insulation. You can save money by just blowing over the older insulation with new. But there are times when removing the old insulation makes sense, for example, if you have severe rodent damage and there’s an odor, or if you have leaks or moisture problems that you’re trying to mitigate. In those cases our attic vacuum truck can suck out the old loose fill insulation. The process is minimally intrusive, with just a hose passing through the house from the attic to the back of our truck. If you’re not sure if the insulation in your attic should be removed or not, our estimators can give you their honest assessment. They’ll treat your home and your wallet the way they’d treat their own.
Wall blow
If you have an older home, built in the 60’s or earlier, there’s a chance it may not have insulation in the exterior walls. If your home has empty wall cavities, we can drill holes, either from the outside through the siding or from the inside through the drywall, and fill the cavities with cellulose. It’s a bit of a dusty process, but it makes a big difference in the comfort and energy costs of the home and there’s usually rebates available from the local utility. Duct seal
Older homes with ductwork in the crawlspace can often benefit from a duct seal and rebates are available through many of the local utilities. Disconnected ducts and leaky joints can be a huge source of heat-loss and increased energy costs for a home. When we perform a duct seal, we reconnect any fallen ducts and seal all the joints with mastic. Once the ducts are sealed, we recommend wrapping the ducts with fiberglass, so that the air stays warm as it travels through the duct. That way you’re paying to heat your home, not your crawlspace.

Spray Foam
Spray foam is a high quality product. It has a higher R-value per inch than traditional insulation and as a closed cell material it also helps with air sealing. Because it’s quite a bit more expensive, we typically recommend fiberglass on your project as you’ll see a quicker return on investment. But there are cases where spray foam makes sense, especially metal buildings or in construction projects where you have a limited amount of framing depth to work with.
